Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of Bishop David Oyedepo has reportedly resigned from his father’s Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners Chapel a few days after he was announced as the youth global pastor for the church.
The news of his departure was confirmed by Church Gist, a media platform owned by Pastor Leke Beecroft, a long-term pastoral assistant at the LFC Headquarters in Ota.
Isaac was formerly a pastor of Living Faith Church in the United States before he was asked to return to Nigeria by Oyedepo, as a minister in the Nigerian church.
Isaac, who is said to be radical, resigned his appointment with his father’s church, with the intention to begin his own ministry.
He was recently appointed as Global Youth Pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Isaac recently explained how he received his calling in an interview ’The Bridge’ conducted by Pastor Steve Ogah in which Pastor David Oyedepo Jr. was featured.
Isaac had recently said, “My God-given mandate is to reclaim a generation and to ensure this generation sees the fire of God’s revival in our generation.”
However, Living Faith Church has yet to confirm or deny the news.
Fillers from Living Faith Church is that many people may move with Isaac to form his own church completely independent of his father’s church.
