Presidential aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and Minister of State for Education Emeka Nwajiuba, has resigned his appointment.
This is coming a few hours after a directive by President Muhammadu Buhari to members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) seeking to contest for any elective position to drop their appointments.
Nwajiuba, who is seeking to run for president on the platform of the APC) resigned from office on Wednesday in Abuja.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, confirmed the minister’s resignation to Channels Television.
