A man simply identified as Babatunde has died inside a bolt cab in Lagos state on Monday, April 24.
According to family sources, Babatunde who resides in Osapa London in the Lekki area of the state had contracted the bolt rider through the app for a ride.
The bolt rider arrived at his home at about 2pm, picked him up and was heading to Ikate which was Babatunde’s destination.
However, during the ride, the deceased began to shout ‘’My heart” after which his mood changed. In fear, the bolt driver rushed him to two different hospitals where he was confirmed dead.
The driver immediately reported the matter to the nearest police station, and the officers there contacted the family of the deceased.
His corpse has been deposited at the IDH General Hospital mortuary while the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his sudden death.
