Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen has apologised to Napoli head coach Rudi Garcia and his teammates for his outburst after he was substituted in the club’s 0-0 draw against Bologna on Sunday.
Osimhen was involved in an angry row with Garcia after he was replaced by Giovanni Simeone in the 86th minute of the encounter.
The 24-year-old had a frustrating evening hitting the woodwork once and also missing a penalty 18 minutes from time.

Garcia refused to reveal details of his discussion with Osimhen in his interaction with the media after the game.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has now revealed Osimhen has apologised for his reaction.
“Victor Osimhen has apologised today to manager Garcia and Napoli teammates after showing disappointment when subbed off yesterday ,” Romano wrote on his X handle.
“Osimhen told in dressing room speech that he was overreacting as he always wants to win.”
